I was reading this one blog, and it showed a list of "summer goals". I really liked it, so I thought I'd take a stab at writing down my summer goals... since all I've been doing so far in my spare time is sleeping and playing my DS.

(I stole some of the girl's goals because they just sound so fun!)

1. Do one physical activity a day
2. Take a leisure course (I'm looking at Intro to Knitting, lol)
3. Learn to cook more dishes (So far I've made Saffron chicken, which turned out horribly, and baked a cheesecake yesterday)
4. Go to a local restaurant you've never been to before (and try a food you've never had) - (I love doing this! Any suggestions?)
5. Set up a kiva.org account
6. Have more out-of-town weekend adventures (So far, I've been to Jacksonville/the beach, camping @ Ginnie Springs, Disney, Newberry for authentic Southern bbq...this list needs to expand--I feel so boring!! Who wants to come on a weekend adventure?? I'm thinking Tampa or Miami next... :D)
7. Read more books for leisure

Thursday (not officially the start of the weekend...but it should be): Firstly, the new F of the C video was featured on the front page of YouTube. For me, this was quite exciting, as I've been looking forward to the premiere of it since April. It was hilariously amazing; I adored the classic banter between the guys in the beginning, Jemaine's pornstache, and Bret's high-waisted jumpsuit. I also loved the bit at the end when they are both kind of floating off into space (there should've been a cut to the song Bowie after it though! lol). Ladies do indeed love the rhythm of the movement and the feel of the wheel...and the rhythm of the feeling.

The Office finale was also on Thursday. In summation, it was intense. The beginning of the episode brought all of our hopes up. Everything was going so wonderfully. Jim was going to propose to Pam (!). Pam was going to art school. Michael was getting along well with the new HR person (and was actually making an effort to NOT be an awkward mess when around her. It was TOO perfect. I knew something was going to go down at the end of the episode. OMG, Andy proposing to Angela and stealing Jim's moment was insanely frustrating. I think Jim should have proposed after Andy anyways. I think it would be even more romantic, not caring that their co-workers are crazy...Arrrrrgh! Brian also told me that the actress who plays Karen Filipelli is atill in the cast--so, that could lead to many things, especially with Pam leaving (but more on that later). I also can't believe Michael is getting back with Jan!! Whyyyy does he want to have children that badly? Marry HR Women and make babies with her! Oh, and YAY for Angela and Dwight getting back together but UGHH for how we found out! lol, cuz it was kinda gross. Ryan getting arrested was pretty hardcore, too. OH, and the interaction between HR Lady and Kevin was JUST. TOO. FUNNY. OMG, I never thought of Kevin as being mentally retarded...I always thought that was just Kevin, lol. But, in that context, it made so much sense! LOL, every single one of those scenes was seriously so hilarious I was nearly falling off the couch in laughter. I loved when it cut to Kevin and he said something like, "I'm SO going to bang her!" HAHA! Overall, it was a great finale and I can't wait for Season 5! I will definitely be keeping up with the webisodes this summer too. :)


Friday: An evening of SingStar Karaoke, alcohol, Dirty Minds, and deviant conversation spent with good friends and one lucky Ginger named Brian (who has one wicked Russian accent).

Work has been going well. I'm glad I'm finally doing something productive with my time, haha. It's hard work, like I expected. I'm really earning my money, hah. It was super busy today considering it's the weekend. Parking is usually HELL at Premium, and I've conditioned myself to leave the house 45 minutes before I have to clock in.. just in case, you know. But somehow I'm always lucky and get to the parking lot RIGHT when someone is leaving. lol, I hope I haven't jinxed myself by saying that. Of course, it's the Premium Outlets, so there are ALWAYS a billion tourists shoppping there. And because of the large traffic of Spanish-speaking tourists (as well as locals), I have been forced into using my mediocre Spanish skills. Which isn't a bad thing. I really don't want to lose it...and I'm surprised how much I remember. Anywho, my co-workers are super nice, for the most part. I've made friends with a bunch of them... except for one of my managers, Gio. Oh mannn, when I first met him, he seemed really friendly and kind. But as I've gotten to know him, I've realized he's sooo fake and seems like he's only nice to you because it's his job...and he's just... not genuine. Ah well.

The Spurs have won three NBA titles (1999, 2003, 2005) and four Western Conference titles, but we can't remember watching a single game. Tim Duncan is definitely Chad Kroeger, the boring frontman, with absolutely no personality. Kroeger looks like the cowardly lion, and his interviews are as captivating as a political discussion with Nicole Richie. Duncan is, well, Tim Duncan. Enough said.

I'm feeling bad about my previous post with Coach Billy D. I can't believe how excited I was after hearing the news. I guess it shows how much of a pro-ball fan I am. But I am very upset about it now. I mean, he was at UF for sooo long...and he's basically leaving for a better contract. Billy D!! I don't want you to leave anymore!!! You brought us 2 back-to-back titles..and made Titletown, TITLETOWN first! *sniff* But he did what he thought was best for him and his family, and what he did for the basketball program at Florida was amazing..hence me joining that facebook group "Thank you Billy D". But I know he will do great in Orlando. He will make Dwight more beastly than ever. ....Such a predicament..being a Gator and from Orlando. le sigh.

can't wait for the finals. haha, after Game 6 I went on youtube and watched a bunch of those "the LeBrons" commercials..Wise LeBron is, no doubt, my favorite.

Saw POTC:AWE recently. And, omg...despite all the horrid reviews I've heard from people... I absolutely...LOVED IT!! XD

*spoilers*
I suppose it's the fangirl in me, but I really enjoyed the amazing special effects, scenery, characters... how the story finally came together..and POTC:DMC finally makes sense to me. Davy Jones was appropriately tentacle-ly and gross. Chow Yun-Fat was so cool. Barbossa was hilarious. Captain Jack was as KICKASS as evarr (save that insanely bizarre 10 minutes in Davy Jones' Locker). The extra Jacks had me cracking up though.. "Oh, he's leaving already? Such a charming fellow." And..omgggg, Captain Turner at the end....just DAYUM/GUH/OMG. Too. much. pretteh. lol. Oh, I feel SO fangirly right now... brings back memories of fanfic-reading when the first POTC came out. *may start reading some again* :) I'm glad they didn't show Will getting his heart cut out. Because, just..ew. And that extra scene after the credits was too adorable and totally worth staying 5 minutes after the movie for.

Also hung out with Kelly today. She's leaving tomorrow for D.C. I'll miss her...like coming over to play Gamecube..ie, Mario Party 7..finding those new, weird games and just random hanging out.. like how we got applebee's to go and watched a mini NEXT marathon today. haha. :) but I know she'll have a fun mini-vacay and do great at her internship. :)

Right now I'm on the lookout on the intrawebs for a Captain Turner pictor, so if you happen to cross one, do please tell me. ^_^ Tomorrow I'm teaching another piano student, returning more library things, and possibly playing tennis. Alright, good night, friends.

So my second interview at



went really well today! The assistant manager who interviewed me was really nice, and we ended up talking about random things like music and movies after the interview. She said I basically have the job, but the store manager will give me a call on wednesday to confirm. So I just have to keep my fingers crossed until then! :)

I also hung out with Kelly today, which was really nice since I hadn't seen her in a couple of days. We ate at the Waffle House, then went to the Loop to look for clothes for her internship. She was able to find a very cute black dress at Old Navy. We then went all the way over to Mall at Milennia to look for more clothes--but not before stopping at Planet Smoothie to refuel first. lol



We basically walked the entire length of the mall only going into about 4 stores. But it was still worth it because even though I never buy anything at that mall, I really love the way it looks. It's just so..bright. Haha. Afterwards, we stopped by the Super Target on Super Target Road, where Kelly found an extremely cute black and white skirt. She then dropped me back at mi casa, and I ate lunch before I headed to the Florida mall with my mom for my interview.



After my interview, my mom and I shopped at Old Navy and Teavana, where I stocked up on some business-cas ropa para mi y some delicious Rooibos Chai.

Then I cleaned my room when I got home. Oh and if anyone needs a purse (i.e. Kelly), I have two cabinet drawers overflowing with them..so you're welcome to take a look......

OHH, and I also now have an UH-mazing connection at the Coach at Premium Outlets... I can now get purses for a whopping SIXTY-FIVE PERCENT OFF.
Holy crap. So if anyone wants a Coach purse, I literally know someone who knows someone who can get that discount. X]

Alright, I think I'm going to mourn King James' loss at the Palace of Auburn Hills---man, the Cavs were THIS CLOSE. ok, so this post has been sitting on my desktop since this morning... i dont remember why i didnt post it when i first wrote it.. but anyways.



i'm so disappointed.

i couldnt get gator basketball tickets. today the last 2 games became available to students. and the way you get tickets is by logging onto this site and entering in your information at 12 noon on the days assigned. so i had been waiting for today for a long time...because there are now only 3 home games left. the team will not be the same next year. noah is most definitely a top pick in this year's nba draft, as well as al horford. corey brewer is a top 20 selection..and taureen green is a second-round pick..and lee humpfrey is graduating this year (*interesting side note about humpfrey for a later post). it makes me sad. i love basketball now. watching pro and college hoops makes me happy... i know i wasn't like this last year, and some people may think i'm just jumping on the bandwagon because i go to a championship-winning school. well, screw you if you think that way... because even though i started getting into the game this summer, i really do love it now.

so not being able to get those tickets upsets me. a lot. of course I can dish out 50+ dollars to get a ticket... which i will most likely do... but, i dont know... just seeing that SOLD OUT next to the South Carolina and Kentucky games was such a downer for me. The thing is..I logged in at 11:50am to check if the games were available..but of course they weren't... so i was just bs-ing around the internet until like 11:58am when i checked again... and...what. the. hell. SOLD OUT. ...IT WASNT EVEN NOON YET!!!!
